Questions contributors ask

Can’t find your answer? Read the guides in the footer or ask us.

Is TagStockAI really free?

Yes. Add your own API key and you can process as many files as you like. You only pay your AI provider if you pick a paid model. Google Gemini, Groq, Mistral and OpenRouter all offer free tiers. A paid plan that works without any key is coming soon.

Where are my API keys stored?

Only in your own browser. Requests go straight from your browser to the AI provider, so your keys never touch our server. You can add several keys per provider and remove them at any time.

Can I upload EPS or AI vector files?

Browsers cannot display EPS or AI files. Upload a JPG or PNG preview with the same file name (for example flower-01.jpg next to flower-01.eps). The CSV will use your vector file name. If you only upload previews, choose .eps under “File type in CSV” in the export bar.

Why are Adobe Stock titles set to 70 characters?

Adobe’s official CSV guide limits titles to 70 characters, so longer titles may be cut. The default range is 55–70 characters. You can change it in the metadata rules.

Should I still mark my files as AI generated?

Yes. Most marketplaces require you to tick their AI or generative-AI box when you upload. TagStockAI keeps phrases like “AI generated” out of your metadata, because titles and keywords should describe what is in the picture, not the tool that made it. “AI” is still allowed when it is the subject, such as an AI chatbot icon.

Does it work with videos?

Yes. The generator takes several frames from each MP4, MOV or WebM clip and writes metadata that describes the action, not a single still.

What is inside the ZIP export?

Your JPG, PNG and SVG files with the title, description and keywords written inside the file (XMP), plus a CSV for every platform you selected.

What is a set theme?

When you upload a series, such as twenty Ramadan coloring pages, type the series name as the set theme. The AI then treats each file as part of the set, adds the theme keywords where they fit, and writes a different title for every file.
